Auf unserem Roadtrip quer durch den Westen der USA in Richtung L.A entdeckten wir ein super schickes Diner im Stil der 50er Jahre. Peggy Sue`s 50`s Diner hat wahrhaftig einen bleibenden Eindruck auf uns "german girls" hinterlassen. Jeder Gast wird von der gestressten Kellnerin mit einem monoton klingenden"Welcome! Come in and take a seat wherever you want" begrüsst und das Essen lässt auch zu wünschen übrig. Aber alleine schon die Location ist einfach sehenswert, sodass der kurze Abstecher sich gelohnt hat.
On our road trip across the western U.S. toward LA we discovered a super fancy dinner in the style of the 50s. Peggy Sue's 50's Diner has truly left a lasting impression on us, "German girls". Every guest is welcomed by the harried waitress with a "Welcome! Come in and take a seat wherever you want" and the food leaves a lot to be desired. But already the location alone is worth seeing, so that the short side trip was worth it.
